We are the heirs of Toni Ros and the pioneers of the Belluno eyewear district. We have dedicated a technological eyewear to the man who was able to transfer the technologies of the nascent world of the automobile to small mechanics, typical of eyewear, and to all the people who collaborated in the creation of this artifact, which are attributable to the brave men who in the valleys of Cadore between ingenuity and mastery, gave birth to the myth of the Italian eyewear district.
Who we are
History
We are in the first decade of the 1900s and a boy from Belluno, Toni Ros (Antonio the red), driven by the youthful desire to change the world, decides to leave for Turin to seek his fortune in one of the most famous and important factories of the time: FIAT .
Here he has the opportunity to learn and acquire mechanical skills that he could hardly have learned elsewhere and that will be important for the various steps of his life. In fact, once he returned to Belluno, he was offered the opportunity to apply his knowledge to a company in Cadore that produced glasses.
This company will be one of those that will later form the famous Italian Eyewear District, a District recognized and admired by the whole world for the quality of the product, the applied design and the typical taste of Made in Italy.
This boy was my grandfather Antonio De Toffol, and it is in his honor that I wanted to build "RossoT", a line of eyewear that represents a milestone in modern eyewear and which honors the many sacrifices made by my ancestor in developing an industry today envied by everyone.
Today
Many women and men of value have contributed to the history of a group that has always stood out for its ability to produce quality, creativity and innovation. Even today the RossoT collection stands out for its originality and research and has been designed to take the possibility of personalizing the object to the extreme. How?
The idea was to create an NFC tag: a small chip inserted inside the frame carries, in its memory, not only the name and surname of the owner of the glasses, making it unique in the world, but all the information indelible inherent in the traceability of the product and its intrinsic qualities, all guaranteed by the TF certification, which traces its quality and guarantees 100% Made in Italy.
We called this technology applied to the RossoT line Eyewear Memory and enriches all our glasses.
